We’re Recruiting:
VeganuClarey Officer
Someone who is driven, organised and keen to run our VeganuClarey Campaign this January. They will lead the team that does the following:
1) Use our social media to highlight the advantages of cutting ruminant meat and dairy from one’s diet from a climate perspective, and other meats from a biodiversity and ethics perspective.
2) Get as many students and staff as possible from across the college to pledge to cut high-emissions foods or go vegan for one month.
3) Support students throughout the month, by emails with tips and recipes, or events (e.g: Vegan Potluck, Relevant Ethical Film Screenings)
Blog Creator
Someone who would like to organise our new blog for this website and ensure it gets semi-regular posts during term.
Posts will ideally be made by a range of different students/staff
Food Sustainability Officer
Someone who can come up with a few ways our college could be more sustainable in terms of food.
For example, ideas might include campaigning for less ruminant meat to be served at formal hall or implementing compost bins in college gyps.
